A
rising young composer, George Shaw has scored over twenty independent
films, including The Kidnapping of Ingrid Bettancourt, winner of
the Best Feature Award at the Slamdance Film Festival. The film
has screened at the Arclight Theater in Hollywood, numerous film
festivals around the world, and recently aired on Cinemax.
George has studied
composition and film scoring at the University of Southern California
Thornton School of Music, taking part in its prestigious film scoring
program. During his student days, George was a semifinalist in the
Turner Classic Movies Young Film Composer Competition. George also
works as an orchestrator, conductor, and producer on rock albums
and Hollywood films.
